See: Monet’s Pond immerses us in some trippy psychedelia in her new video for ‘Floating In Air’

Last month, we described Brisbane musician Monet’s Pond‘s debut single ‘Floating In Air’ as  a swirling panoply of sound that created a sonic kaleidoscopic haze – a musical version of a Pucci dress. Now, Monet’s Pond – essentially the work of Brigette Lawrence – has provided a sumptuous, visually riotous video that encapsulates the same sixties flavour and design.

Kaleidoscope patterns, split screens, day-glo colours and a whiff of chemical ingestion that alters perceptions in the most delightful way feature. The darker themes of the song are sublimated by the swirling glitter balls and colours:

‘Floating In Air’ is a trippy delight and is out now. You can download/stream this shimmering single through a variety of sources here.
