There’s two ways of looking at it I suppose. Either that the waits nearly over, or alternatively the anticipations almost at boiling point. It’s those Last Shadow Puppets, ostensively Alex Turner and Miles Kane, and there second album that’s causing all the talk. Turns out ‘Everything you’ve come to expect’ is coming out on April 1st via Domino Records.
From it comes a new single, Bad Habits. It ticks all the boxes – Swagger, pulsating indie rock, moments of cinematic beauty and ambitious orchestration, insistent singalong chorus’ and this sort of edgy groove, so fingers crossed. Check out the accompanying video featuring Turner / Kane performing and being the indie rock star boys they are, and check out the freshly announced live dates. Judging by this, believe the hype.
New dates are as follows:
10 July: UK, Manchester – Castlefield Bowl
12 July: UK, Bridlington – The Spa
13 July: UK, Bournemouth – BIC
15 July: UK, London – Alexandra Palace
Tickets for all shows will be available from 9am on Friday the 5th of February.
