Following on his debut EP, Evil Twin, which came out on the 37 Adventures imprint, Leeds based producer Krrum (named after a meat rub from his days working in butchery in Derbyshire) has wasted no time in releasing a new single, Still Love. More soulful that the neon glow of previous single Hard on You, it’s still full of scattering percussion, twisting brass lines and stabs and sultry keys, with Krrum’s serene vocal lines and catchy pop melodies draped over the top.
He’s just released an accompanying video, directed by Camille and Sara Summers-Valli, who comment “the video came from wanting to have more of a documentary approach – Krrum’s videos have been so mad and imaginative – I wanted to try and introduce him in his natural habitat…put a face to the music as well as a glimpse into his life. I’m also really fascinated by English culture outside of London.”
