Good Charlotte have released a live video for “Life Changes” filmed at a recent sold out show at the Brixton Academy. The track first appeared on their 2016 post-hiatus album Youth Authority, and is given the cinematic treatment in this video, where the band perform it with their usual pop-punk bombast.
To be honest, I never listened to Good Charlotte much in my original “it’s not a phase” phase; I never progressed much beyond My Chemical Romance, Green Day, and Fall Out Boy (all of whom I not-so-secretly still quite enjoy listening to now). When I rediscovered pop-punk a couple of years ago though, I realised I’d missed out on them; they’ve managed to mature as a band and change their perspective accordingly in a way few bands of their era, Green Day aside, have managed.
The band will also be headlining Slam Dunk festival, the UK-based Scrappy Doo to Warped Tour’s Scooby Doo this summer. The dates are as here:
North
Saturday 26th May
Leeds – City Center
South
Sunday 27th May
