From their new album ‘Nothing Is True & Everything Is Possible’, the electronically orientated Alternative Rock band, Enter Shikari have released a music video on YouTube, of their tune ‘The Great Unknown’.
Bristling with mood and atmosphere, the song and the music video evoke the Dypstopian character of both the movie, Blade Runner and it’s soundtrack by Vangelis. Unlike the ambience of that soundtrack, however, ‘The Great Unknown’ is a snarling slice of electronica. It’s laden with pop hooks, a dance-orientated beat, soaring vocals and chainsaw guitar.
The video is lavish, brooding, not just having the feel of Blade Runner’s Los Angeles, but also, Akira’s Neo-Tokyo and Judge Dredd’s Mega City One.
‘The Great Unknown’ is a fiery bombtack of the album, that not just reflects Enter Shikari’s talents as a incendiary live act but as a fantastic studio band, who will fire your imagination with their Futuristic Electro-Punk tunes.
