Quirky indie darlings Black Honey return with ‘I Don’t Ever Wanna Love’ the first new recording since last year’s self titled debut album.
The Brighton quartet who have support slots to Royal Blood and Slaves under their belts as well as a string of sold out headline tours are well know for blistering live sets full of indie anthems such as All My Pride, Hello Today and I Only Hurt The Ones I Love but the band frequently push boundaries, as disco fuelled hit Midnight proved.
Latest single is a suave cinematic breeze that boasts a breathy outstanding vocal from charismatic singer Izzy Bee Phillips a rush of strings and a laid back lounge feel complete with slick video featuring a colour palette to rival any Wes Anderson movie.
I Don’t Ever Wanna Love is out now and the band play Y Not Festival on 26th July.
Reading Festival on the 23rd August and Leeds Festival on the 24th August.
