Speaking about Another Chore, the new single from Anthen GA’s Muuy Biien, Joshua Evans from the band says “Another chore is a song about annoying, unambitious people. Robbie and I tracked the song at our house in Athens in less than an hour with no preconceptions, or prospects for that matter. We chose to shoot the video while on tour in New York City with our friend Jorge Torres-Torres. This allowed us to approach the video in a stream of conscious fashion, similar to the song. Saxophones.”
Stepping away from the high energy punk that previously defined the bands sound, there’s a lot more Suicide and The Birthday Party in the record, with its winding, almost hypnotic guitar riff, punctured by this dubby snare drum and experimental jazz licks on that Saxophone. It’s taken from the bands third long player Age of Uncertainty, which is out on October 28th via the Autumn Tone label.
