Liverpool psychedelic rockers The Vryll Society announce the arrival of their latest single, ‘Andrei Rublev’ ramping up the hype prior to the release of their debut LP this summer.
Having previously produced a series of critically acclaimed singles over the last few years, including ‘A Perfect Rhythm’ and ‘Shadow Of A Wave’, the fast-rising Merseyside outfit are primed for their first full-length release, with impressive appearances at the likes of Glastonbury, Reading & Leeds and TRNSMT helping them develop a staunch grassroots following.
The track is inspired by scenes from Andrew Tarkovsky’s 1996 arthouse classic film of the same name and features a hazy combination of hypnotic guitar solos, a probing bass line and an interesting vocal and drum interplay. The track that hints at things to expect from the album, leaving the listener wanting more.
