The UK music scene is renowned the world over for devising, nurturing, and developing new music styles. Where the Brits begin, the rest of the world follow.
Riskee & The Ridicule fuse hardcore punk, metal and grime, coating it with a sweet emo/street punk glaze. Live they are an absolute powerhouse. Formed in 2011, with their 4th album, “Platinum Status” due to drop on August 25th, this Kent 5 piece deliver powerful hook laden tunes, track after track. A taster of what to expect from the Oz Craggs produced album is showcased in their current single “My Name”. Of the track, frontman Scott Pickering has this to say “”The song is two fingers up to backstabbers, self-righteous keyboard warriors and watered down punks. It’s meant to punch you in the face if you need it, but it’s also a celebration of what the underground has done for music and what it’s capable of doing.”
