One of the events I most look forward to each year is the Liverpool International Festival of Psychedelia. For me it provides a terrific opportunity to catch up with some of my favourite bands and check out ones that I’d never come across before. Now in its fifth year, and having just announced the full line-up for this September 23/24, I decided to do this week’s playlist of bands I’m really looking forward to seeing there this year.
I’ve already featured bands who are playing Liverpool this year in recent playlists, such as Josefin Ohrn + The Liberation, Gnomes, The Lucid Dream, Has A Shadow, Kikagaku Moyo, Wooden Indian Burial Ground, The Oscillation and Pop.1280; and all of these are well worth checking out. Meanwhile here are ten more. Enjoy!
