Premiere: YEEVS have ‘No Plans To Change’ as they drop a video for the track off their new album ahead of live dates.

Three-piece Gadigal-based trio YEEVS have just released their first album in five years entitled ‘ The Borderline, Thereabouts’ and we are very proud to premiere the video for the track ‘No Plans To Change’.

‘No Plans To Change’ is a reflective, contemplative track that glides over dappled guitars and the yearning vocals, and the video is a live take of the band playing the track in the Blue Mountains village of Hazelbrook. Shot in a bucolic setting filled with green trees and sunshine, the band is enigmatic and poised. There are shades of Bon Iver or even the acoustic version of Beck, wrapped up in an antipodean mantle. There’s something hypnotic and dreamy in the delivery:

This is sublime music that is both melancholic yet antithetically uplifting.

The track is off ‘The Borderline, Thereabouts’ which is out now and available to download and stream via all the usual channels and though the link below.
