She may only have released her most recent album Survival in Motion in September, but true to the album’s title, Nashville-via-Wellsboro’s Taylor Acorn shows no signs of slowing down. Capping off the year, the Tennessee transplant’s releasing a two-song EP of acoustic reworkings from her new record, featuring another take on title track ‘Greener’ and a fresh spin on ‘People Watching’.
Of the EP’s lead track (a single version of which, it should be noted, was released last month, featuring Mitchell Tenpenny), Acorn says: “‘Greener’ has been one of those songs that has just gotten me through. I needed to write it, I needed to feel it, and I know there’s 2 versions already but I am a sucker for an acoustic. There’s something that’s just so sweet and uplifting about the acoustic and I’m really excited for everyone to hear it.”
The Greener acoustic EP is self-released tomorrow, but you can and should check out both songs early with us.
