Black Lime, the brainchild of lead singer-songwriter Sam Connolly, hit the scene with their debut release “Down and Out” this Friday. It’s a fruity cocktail – the flavour of the Arctic Monkeys, infused with a dash of the Black Lips, and garnished with a slice of zesty indie rock all of their own making…
Singer Sam Connolly says “Down and Out is about wanting more from a stale relationship, because you both have polar-opposite personalities.. the lyrics reflect those differences. We really wanted to show people we can kick it up a gear, to show that the energy we’ve put into the song doesn’t go to waste and that we’re really hoping to become a prominent figure in the local scene.”
BLACK LIME are: Sam (Vocals), Luke (Guitar), Elliot (Bass) & Daniel (Drums).
The single will be released digitally on all platforms through Warren Records on Friday 22nd April. Available on iTunes, Spotify or direct from Warren Records at: warrenrecordsuk.bandcamp.com
