Private Agenda’s have created a brilliant new video for their track ‘Neo-Nostalgia’, the lead track from their forthcoming sophomore album ‘A Mannequin’ due next year via Lo Recordings.
The video is a collaboration with Kat Kemsley and J. R. Dawson (a.k.a Tough Honey) with whom the pair previously created a series of stunning mixed-media visuals for their debut album, Île de Rêve.
J.R. Dawson, Director, and one half of production duo Tough Honey with whom we collaborated on the video:
“we wanted to create a film about how different personalities use their art forms to express their inner realities. We wanted to make something with a vintage feel, that matched the playfulness of the track and was a little abstract”.
Melodic and soft with wonderful vocals its a slice of seductive, warm electronic pop in the vein of Toro y Moi and Bullion. A throwback to the future, blending the forward-thinking electronica of Jessy Lanza and Yves Tumor with the soft, soulful pop of Babeheaven and Erika de Casier.
