PREMIERE: Philadelphia’s The Mary Veils unleash ‘Bone Blossom Green’ and announce debut album for March

If it feels like Philly quartet The Mary Veils have been building toward something for a while, that’s because, well, they have. Having completed their metamorphosis from Brian von Uff’s solo project into a full band late last year with the Somewhere Over the Rowhome EP, their debut album is finally locked in, and we’ve got the scoop.

Esoteric Hex lands relatively soon, so you’ve got about two months to brace for impact – when it hits, it’s surely going to leave a mark. Exhibit A: the riotous opener and lead single ‘Bone Blossom Green’. Per the band: “[It’s] based off a riff we had floating around for awhile. Originally we thought it would just be that main riff, for the entirety of the song but it kind of took a different turn while writing. It was one of the more challenging ones for us to finish, but we think it really showcases us as a band, and in a way highlights how we’ve developed musically and what our sound has become.”

We’re premiering it below; play it loud, and look out for the band’s debut album on Friday March 25th via PNKSLM.
