If you haven’t listened to Raj Haldar before, now’s as good a time as ever to get on board. He’s been making music as Lushlife for the better part of 15 years; with the odd detour into (bestselling!) children’s literature, which in turn led to a TV development deal and (separately) an India-set TV series.
The Philadelphian has had his fingers in a number of different pies over the past few years, but he’s still making music. He put out an excellent EP called Redamancy toward the beginning of last year, and it’s been pressed to deluxe edition vinyl! 100 of ’em.
The now-8-track collection is out tomorrow via Fortune Tellers (Bandcamp Friday, but you knew that), and we’ve got a premiere of the bonus tracks because we’re slick like that. Lil’ Dave House reworks two-parter ‘Fando Y Lis’ (making it a Part 3 in the process – listen and you’ll get it) and Desertion Trio put their spin on the title track. You should get familiar with the rest of the EP while you’re at it – stream the whole thing below!
