Premiere: PARRIS MITCHELL examines himself on self-reflective banger ‘Problem Child’

He styles himself in all-caps, and the new song from New Yorker PARRIS MITCHELL is definitely worth shouting about. Since the release of his 2022 EP, I Don’t Love You, and Other Lies, Mitchell’s been hard at work on his debut album and shrugging his shoulders at genre boundaries in the process.

‘Problem Child’, his latest offering, is ‘a “neighbors calling in a noise complaint” banger about self-reflection. My emo indie rock anthem, co-penned with Stalking Gia and Ryder Stuart, explores raw emotions and introspection with ripping guitars, angsty vocals and intense drums.”

It’s an effortlessly replayable song that shows listeners another side of Mitchell’s diverse output; a further taster of the aforementioned debut album; The Mixed Emotions Arcade is out Friday June 14th, and we’re premiering ‘Problem Child’ below.
