Offering a radiant sense of enjoyment blended with emotion driven songwriting, vibrant vocals and tight distorted guitar lines, Chloe Mogg’s new single ‘Heaven Sent You’ is a prime example of her work and an exciting example of the infectious alternative rock sound to be expected across her upcoming debut album ‘The Crazy One’. Needless to say, we are very excited to be running the premiere.
Instantly comparable to Stevie Nicks with both the intense vocal tone which tops the driving guitar riffs, the track balances it’s classic-rock undertones with a vibrant alt-pop edge with it’s infectiously catchy melodies.
As the track develops into it’s subtly etherial pre-chorus, the track soon then builds through it’s driving chorus as Chloe’s vocals soar over a wash of backing vocals. The track continues to build through it’s tight production and energetic musical soundscape towards an explosive climax as Chloe’s vocals shine with a fluorescent glow, soaring into the stratosphere.
Speaking a bout the track, Chloe explains: “I performed at a festival with my band to hundreds, possibly a thousand people or so in Bewdley, and the crowd and I instantly ‘clicked’. They were singing along to my songs, dancing and even forming moshpits (!!!) (which they referred to as Mogg Pits), it was incredible. This song is an ode to that night and how it reminded me that doing music is one of my callings in life.”
As comparable to Alanis Morrisette as it is to Fleetwood Mac, ‘Heaven Sent You’ is a exciting, musically right and emotive example of Chloe’s uncanny abilities as a performer and a songwriter. Make sure you stay tune for Chloe’s full upcoming album.
