News: Waverly Drive Unveils Vibrant New Single ‘Class’

Emerging Chicago & LA solo artist Waverly Drive returns with the psychedelic-rock-pop fizzer ‘Class’, out today. Showcasing the effortlessly addictive soundscapes that define his artistry, the new single delivers both musical depth and melodic finesse.

Built around a tight, steady groove, ‘Class’ blends a timeless vintage undertone reminiscent of David Bowie with a modern psychedelic edge. Layering tight strings, hypnotic bass, fuzzy guitar tones, and choral vocals under a gritty yet understated lead, the track is both vibrant and musically mature. While its bright, infectious sense of energy and buoyant aura is palatable, the tracks sharp edge of social commentary, exploring the impact of class on society gives ‘Class’ a biting, punk attitude and edge.

Speaking on the track, Waverly Drive explains:
“‘Class’ is a lyric-driven reflection of the impact class has on society.”

Adding to its sonic richness, ‘Class’ features a lineup of standout studio musicians, including Gadiel Mencia, Matthew Noel, Alex Kyhn (Macy Gray, Family Company), Russ Mitkowski (French Montana, The Weeknd), Halley Feaster (Dropkick Murphys), and Kathrene Gawel (True Vacation). The track is mixed by Neil Wogensen (Ogreta, Austin Leonard Jones) and mastered by John Greenham (Billie Eilish, Angele, Liam Gallagher).

With its hook-laden melodies, layered instrumentation, and thought-provoking lyrics, ‘Class’ marks another bold and inventive step forward for Waverly Drive.
