Glasgow’s indie-alt-rock trio, Tracers, burst onto the scene with their electrifying debut single, ‘Push And Shove’. This track serves as the inaugural release from their highly anticipated debut EP.
Having honed their craft through captivating performances across Glasgow, including notable gigs such as supporting The Covasettes at King Tut’s, sharing the stage with Arcade State at SWG3, and headlining sold-out shows at The Garage and Broadcast, Tracers have swiftly cemented their status as a promising up-and-coming talent, despite having just one single under their belt.
Recorded at the iconic Abbey Road and Metropolis Studios and meticulously produced and mastered by Tayte Nickols and Sugarhouse respectively, ‘Push And Shove’ perfectly encapsulates the dynamic essence and infectious energy of Tracers’ electrifying live performances. The track showcases their knack for crafting irresistible melodies and vibrant songwriting that leaves a lasting impression.
With biting guitar tones, punchy drums, and driving bass lines, Tracers create a high-octane indie backdrop that sets the stage for the urgent lead vocals to soar above. The layered vocals add depth and intensity, lending the track an anthemic quality reminiscent of stadium-filling sing-alongs.
In their own words, Tracers describe ‘Push And Shove’ as “a feel-good, sing-along indie anthem which provides a strong sonic backbone for the good times.”
As they embark on their musical journey into 2024, Tracers bring with them a wealth of new material, poised to elevate their sound to greater heights as they approach the release of their debut EP.
