Gascony, France-based blues-rock duo The Inspector Cluzo have announced their return to Australia after 15 years away. The funk metal supergroup Infectious Grooves hand-picked the band as the special guests on their tour beginning March 30 in Melbourne.
“We’re so excited to be coming back to see you this Easter to play shows with the funk metal monster that is Infectious Grooves.”
The Inspector Cluzo
The Inspector Cluzo, consisting of Laurent on guitar and lead vocals and Mathieu on drums, has garnered global acclaim for their raw blues rock ‘n’ roll and self-reliant ethos. Formed in 2008, this independent duo has released nine albums through their own label, FTBP Records, including the highly praised Horizon last year. Produced by six-time GRAMMY® Award-winner Vance Powell (who has worked with Jack White, Chris Stapleton, Phish), the album not only secured them a feature on the cover of Rolling Stone France and a four-star review but was also listed by Classic Rock as one of “The 50 Best Albums of the Year.”
