Girl In Red

Alt-pop trio Telenova are set to bring their mesmerising soundscapes to the Australian leg of Girl in Red’s Doing It Again Asia/Oceania Tour. The three-piece will open shows across Australia, captivating audiences in Perth, Sydney, Melbourne, and Brisbane with their evocative blend of lush instrumentation and haunting melodies. This tour promises to be a compelling showcase of rising talent, with Telenova’s atmospheric performances setting the stage for Girl in Red’s electrifying headlining sets.

Named AIR’s Breakthrough Artist of the Year in 2022, Telenova also appeared in triple j’s Hottest 100 of the previous year. Telenova have embarked on multiple sold-out tours, played nearly every major festival across Australia, and also performed in eighteen different cities in Europe and the UK in late 2023.

The Girl in Red, the stage name of Norwegian singer-songwriter Marie Ulven, has quickly become a defining voice in the indie pop scene. Her career took off with the viral success of her 2018 single ‘i wanna be your girlfriend,’ which captured the raw, unfiltered emotions of queer youth and resonated with a global audience. Her debut album, ‘if i could make it go quiet,’ released in 2021, further solidified her status as a powerful storyteller. In April this year, she released her sophomore album, ‘I’m Doing It Again Baby’ a record that is both intimate and expansive. Girl in Red’s signature candid lyricism shines throughout, offering listeners a poignant glimpse into her ongoing journey of growth and healing.
