This year, Wakefield’s finest exports The Cribs are celebrating ten years of their third album Men’s Needs, Women’s Needs, Whatever, and to commemorate the occasion, the band are embarking on short run of UK dates in the spring.
Men’s Needs, Women’s Needs, Whatever will be played for the first time ever in its entirety. It was the album that shifted The Cribs from the underrated indie outfit to the mainstream, main stage festival playing band that they are today. The album will also be available on a special edition gold LP courtesy of Wichita Records.
The band state that “This isn’t The Cribs indulging ourselves and reliving the past – it’s more just a big THANK YOU to all of you that have been with us throughout the years, and a ‘welcome aboard’ to those who missed it the first time around”.
This tour sees the Yorkshire lads play their first ever gig at the Leeds First Direct Arena- following on from the success of their open air show at Millennium Square last summer, the Leeds date is the closest they’ve been to a hometown show since Long Division Festival in Wakefield in 2014.
