News: The Brackets release new track Black Eyes

Here at Backseat Mafia, we’d love to introduce The Brackets as Yorkshire’s finest but with a front man with the strongest Blackburn accent around, we’ll settle for calling them The North’s finest.

Black Eyes is a stand alone single from the lads who after a few years of establishing their sound and members, seem to have settled on a solid lineup and sound for the band.

Speaking about the song, Eric Hayes vocalist and lyricist for the band states;

The musical element of Black Eyes was already formed when I joined the band so I added a descending guitar line and the lyrics. The song is about being with someone who, regardless of how much they have or do hurt you, you keep coming back to them despite it all

The song has a overwhelming charm that contrasts to the obviously sad lyrics but it makes for a sweet indie ditty.

You can catch The Brackets in Leeds TONIGHT! Headlining a show at The Lending Room, for all the info and to buy the track, click this link HERE
