News: Stray Kids Announce Australian Tour

Stray Kids

Global K-Pop superstars Stray Kids are scheduled to captivate Australian fans this October with two exclusive stadium performances as part of their World Tour. This announcement follows the recent release of the group’s new mini album, ‘ATE.’

The tour will commence at Melbourne’s Marvel Stadium on October 19, followed by a performance at Sydney’s Allianz Stadium on October 26.

Stray Kids, an eight-member boy band, was formed in March 2018. The group’s name, “Stray Kids,” symbolizes their determination to break free from tradition, formalities, and the old system. The members are not only skilled in vocals, rap, and performance, but they have also been credited with producing the majority of Stray Kids’ distinctive discography.

In 2023, Stray Kids received notable accolades, including the Top K-Pop Album award at the BBMAs and Best K-Pop at the VMAs for their full-length album <5-STAR>. The album achieved remarkable success, selling over 4.61 million copies in its first week, setting a record for the highest first-week sales in K-pop history at the time. The group also earned the titles of “Group of the Year” at the 2024 People’s Choice Awards and “K-Pop Album of the Year” at the 2024 iHeartRadio Music Awards.

Stray Kids have achieved significant milestones, including debuting four consecutive albums at No.1 on the Billboard 200 chart and becoming the second K-Pop male group in history to enter the Billboard HOT 100 chart. The group continues to transcend geographical and cultural boundaries, deeply resonating with global listeners.
