Recorded at The Clubhouse in Bournemouth, the album was mixed and mastered by experienced producer Pash Stratton and written by the band, Scotty Perry, Cait Bowyer and Joe Sammons. Speaking of the album, Slacker said “We are so excited about our album being released into the world. The album was written in late 2022 to early 2023 just after we got back from a relentless touring schedule of club dates and festivals and our first tour in America. This album has turned out to be our most personal and reflective album to date. We’ve had a lot of personal losses within the band while trying to write and record, and this changed the direction of a lot of the songs and the lyrics. In the end, it brought us closer together as a band and we hope that this album gives out a message of hope to our fans, and that you have more people out there who care about you than you realise and that by pulling together as a community you can get through anything with positivity and remembering how to have fun through the love of music.”
The album, which features the already released singles Holding On and Lie To Me, also includes latest single This Time
Set The Night On Fire available now via Lost Music Collective, here.
