News: Scottish Rockers Beldon Haigh Shines On The Blues Rock Fizzer ‘Felony’

Scotland-based rockers Beldon Haigh have a built a reputation for their genre-blending sound and unapologetic political commentary, a musical approach which is captured perfectly on the new single ‘Felony’.

Opening with an explosive blues-rock riff and delivering some delectably slick guitar work, ‘Felony’ is a high-octane, intense example of the bands abilities. Punching drums, swells of organ and some gutsy vocals accompany the thick wall of distorted guitar to create a track which is at once commercially viable whilst also carrying a classic rock aura.

Thematically, the track confronts the disturbing trend of leaders using double standards and absurd justifications to excuse actions that create chaos and harm, often crossing into the realm of the criminal. Frontman Justin Skelton’s powerful vocals drive home the urgency of the song’s message, channeling anger and frustration into each lyric.

Released by Covfefe Records, ‘Felony’ continues Beldon Haigh’s tradition of pairing socially conscious lyrics with cutting-edge music. It’s a bold statement set to a driving beat, proving once again that the band is unafraid to challenge the status quo while keeping their sound fresh and engaging.
