Lisbon, Kodaline and Kaiser Chiefs will be rocking the roof off the Metro Radio Arena in Newcastle this autumn and it’s all for a fantastic cause. What better way to raise money for the Teenage Cancer Trust and Nordoff Robbins than by also having a terrific evening watching some amazing bands?
North Eastern entrepreneur Graham Wylie has set up a foundation to support deserving local causes and has partnered with the Great North Run to encourage a huge amount of fundraising to take place on Sunday 11 September 2016.
Following the gruelling half marathon between Newcastle and South Shields, it’s all back to the Metro Radio Arena for an evening of rock and raising money. Britpop stalwarts the Kaiser Chiefs, Irish indie rockers Kodaline and the superb up and coming local band Lisbon make up the line up so far, with more acts to be announced before the date.
