London based Peeping Drexels have announced their new EP Days Of Heaven as well as sharing new single ‘Sneak Motel‘. The EP will be released 2 September on Brace Yourself Records.
Peeping Drexels have shared stages with the likes of ShameGoat Girl, Public Practice, Viagra Boys and Fat White Family. The band will headline London’s Lexington on 7 October to celebrate the release.

On ‘Sneak Motel’, Peeping Drexels say:
Translating classic country Americana style into something more English-countryside driven, the themes of the single are road-trips, deep-south swamps and fresh starts. Sonically influenced by 70’s-80’s country and pop music. It’s the oldest track on the EP, originally a different version was written and recorded during lockdown for a separate project, before making its way into Peeping Drexels live set and becoming the version we have today.

It is fitting that the new EP Days Of Heaven tributes Terrence Malick’s great work, a film where the viewer is thrown into the action, where misery and beauty collide and where neither can lay claim victory. Honing in on a more intimate and delicate sound, compared to previous work, the quieter and more reflective moments will surprise those familiar with the band’s more maximalist approach to date.
