News: Oh Buddy! Share 80s Infused New Single ‘On and On’

Dynamic pop duo Oh Buddy! are back with the radiant new single ‘On and On’. Following the success of last year’s ‘Home is Where You Are’, this new release further establishes them as innovative hitmakers in the dance-pop scene.

With a rich blend of synth and tight guitar work, ‘On and On’ is an electrifying showcases the bands blend of shimmering 80s pop elements and dancefloor energy, comparable to The 1975 whilst capturing a radiant vintage charm. Combining sleek songwriting with irresistible hooks, the track radiates euphoria, drawing listeners into its immersive soundscape.

“‘On and On’ represents a transitional moment for us as songwriters, reshaping what we thought was once possible with our music,” the duo share. “It shattered the glass ceiling of our artistry and opened a door to a new level of creativity, ambition, and emotional honesty. More than that, it challenged us to tap into a deeper sense of vulnerability and realness with ourselves in a way we haven’t before. For us, ‘On and On’ represents a chapter within a greater narrative where, at its heart, talks about the kind of love that feels infinite. The rush of headlights on wet pavement, the weight of a goodbye, the pull of something you can’t walk away from. It’s about surrendering to a moment, holding on as tight as you can, and never letting go.”

Formed by childhood best friends Chase Bader and Conor Kelly, Oh Buddy! has been making waves in the pop world since their debut single, ‘Wrong Thing’, earlier in 2024. Their distinctive and cinematic approach to music has resonated with fans worldwide, amassing over 600k streams. Rooted in personal experiences, their sound is a testament to resilience, emotional growth, and artistic exploration.
