London based Swedish-American singer-songwriter Lexi Berg shares the intimate and melancholic new ballad Bermuda Triangle.
Having built a reputation for her alluring raspy vocals and impactful songwriting, Bermuda Triangle is a haunting track, making the most of simplicity and beauty built primarily around her solo piano and vocal performance. The song gradually swells into a cinematic crescendo, with strings, deep bass and subtle electronic drums.
Co-written with hitmakers Jim Eliot (who’s worked with Ellie Goulding and Kylie Minogue) and Grammy-winning producer Jimmy Hogarth (Sia, Duffy, James Blunt) the track offers a departure from her Americana and folk-pop approach to previous single Lonely Satellite. Highlighting both the depth of her material stylistically but also her ability to capture depth in emotion and a sense of sincerity in her delivery and lyricism, the new single is a radiant addition to Lexi’s catalogue.
With a rich history of success, Lexi has already shown that she’s got what’s required to make her mark, and with the new single, she continues cement her place as one to watch.
