News: Jack Howard Delivers Debut ‘All Things That Came Before’

Having captured the attention of BBC Radio 1, Jack Howard now unveils his radiant debut EP, All Things That Came Before. This carefully curated collection of tracks is a poignant reflection of Jack’s journey, exploring themes of growth, masculinity, relationships, and grief across five luminous songs.

Showcasing dreamy, emotive soundscapes packing some elegant musicality and heartfelt emotion, the EP showcases some brilliant songwriting and fluorescently vibrant performances. With elements of neo-soul in among the pop tendencies on the EP, Jack makes great use of some dynamic distorted guitar riffs and powerful vocal performances, whilst retaining a raw sincerity and relatability.

In Jack’s own words:
“I envisioned this project as a snapshot of my personal growth and transformation. Initially, it was meant to be a collection of songs I liked, but as I continued creating, these songs started to form a cohesive narrative of my life. Each track is inspired by experiences that have shaped me into the person I am today. This EP revolves around themes of grief, hope, childhood, and family.”

Relocating from his hometown of Portsmouth to pursue a thriving career in London, Jack’s sold-out performances at venues like Prince Albert and Colours Hoxton paved the way for festival appearances at The Great Escape and Wild Paths among others. The new EP continues this journey of artist growth.
