Hertfordshire, UK punk rockers The Subways have released the uniquely shot, fabulously amber-hued video to accompany new single You Kill My Cool, out now via Alcopop! Records. The clip was filmed by London-based director Blake Claridge (The Wanted, Hadouken, Martin Garrix), who says of the visuals: “I’d always wanted to do something with a perpetual motion, and in the end it was a butchered slider, many clamps, sand bags, a piece of rope, a lot of heavy lifting, a crash mat and throwing in a Roll Rig. I like to call it the ‘Drop-Cam’ but for insurance purposes I don’t think it would catch on.”

The band have also released single B-side Oi You Boy Bands, a rallying feminist cry against all things pale, male and stale that features lead vocals from bassist Charlotte Cooper and new drummer/permanent member Camille Phillips (The Ramonas).

The Subways’ recently announced a forthcoming fifth studio album, set for release later this year and with further details to come very soon.
