GOLDFRAPP’s fourth album, Seventh Tree, is to receive a coloured vinyl reissue next March via Mute/BMG.
The album, originally released in February 2008, which featured singles such as the widescreen piano pop of”Caravan Girl”, the smouldering confession of “A&E” and “Caravan”, has been out of pressing for a long while now and commands prices north of £50 on the collectors’ market.
The reissue will come on yellow vinyl in a gatefold sleeve, with an art print.
Coming on the heels of the darker, electro glamour of Supernature, Seventh Tree saw Alison and Will Gregory come out blinking into the sunlight.
Alison described the album as “English romanticism with a hint of California sunshine,” with Will adding that it was “heartache dressed in ten louche outfits.”
Goldfrapp’s Seventh Tree will be available on yellow vinyl on March 5th, 2021; you can pre-order your copy now, here.
