News: Fleshwater Brings Grungegaze To Australian Shores, Tour Starting Next Week!

Fleshwater are finally bringing their gritty, American grunge-gaze to Australia this November! Originally slated to debut at New Bloom Festival earlier this year, Fleshwater had to pull out last minute, leaving their Aussie fanbase hungry for more. Now, the wait is nearly over. Kicking off at Meanjin/Brisbane’s Valley Loft on November 13, the band will make stops across the East Coast, hitting iconic venues like Crowbar in Eora/Sydney and Stay Gold in Naarm/Melbourne, before closing at Lynotts Lounge in Boorloo/Perth on November 22.

Formed in 2017 by members of Vein.fm, Fleshwater has established a hugely loyal fanbase drawn to their 90s-inspired blend of grunge, shoegaze, and alt-rock. Their debut EP ‘demo2020’ and breakout single ‘Linda Claire’ set the tone for a sound that’s heavy yet hauntingly melodic. Building on that momentum, Fleshwater’s first full-length album ‘We’re Not Here To Be Loved’ dropped in 2022, paving the way for slots at major U.S. festivals like Lollapalooza and Riot Fest.

This tour offers Aussie fans a rare chance to catch the band in intimate venues before they head back to the States for a high-profile North American tour supporting Deftones and The Mars Volta in early 2025.
