Crowded House

After crisscrossing the US, UK, and Europe, multi-platinum icons Crowded House are finally bringing their tour home. The Gravity Stairs Tour lands in New Zealand on November 9 in Wellington, winding through the country before closing out at Auckland’s Spark Arena on November 23. From there, the band heads to Australia for a sprawling 10-show run, kicking off with three nights in Perth on November 29 and wrapping in Brisbane on December 14.

Crowded House have announced two special guests. In New Zealand, they’ll be joined by Mel Parsons, whose relentless touring in support of Sabotage—her critically acclaimed album that hit number 2 on the NZ Album Chart in June—has cemented her status as one of the country’s most captivating voices. In Australia, multi-instrumentalist and songwriter Vera Ellen will open every show, bringing her idiosyncratic, genre-blurring talent to audiences across the country.

Crowded House has sold over 15 million records worldwide as well as earning a Brit Award, 13 Australian ARIA Awards, 3 Aotearoa Music Awards and an MTV VMA, the band have generated billions of streams, consistently sold-out tours on multiple continents and have been captivating audiences for nearly four decades. Originally founded by Neil Finn, Nick Seymour, and the late Paul Hester, the group’s self-titled debut in 1986 went platinum, uplifted by worldwide smashes “Something So Strong” and “Don’t Dream It’s Over” which has been covered by everyone from Miley Cyrus and Ariana Grande to U2, among others.

This tour isn’t just another victory lap—it’s a celebration of endurance, artistry, and the evolution of a band that has soundtracked decades of life for fans across the globe. With new material in the mix and a pair of dynamic openers, these shows promise to be as much about looking forward as they are about nostalgia.
