News: Brighton’s Bighead Tea Drinkers Shine On Summery New Single ‘Flowers’

Brighton indie-rock quartet Bighead Tea Drinkers make a powerful return with the infectiously catchy new single ‘Flowers’. Already receiving early support from Radio X, the track captures the essence of summer, wrapped in the band’s signature sound that blends infectious melodic vocals with buoyant, upbeat instrumentation.

‘Flowers’ is a testament bands knack for crafting radiant melodies whilst retaining a striking, alternative edge. With punching drums, bright strummed guitars, and a grounding bass-line, the track creates an energetic yet warm atmosphere, perfectly complementing the intricate lead guitar riffs and giving a biting undertone for the sweet lyricism.

Talking about the single the band describe the track as: “A feel-good summer tune in its rawest form. It’s the type of song you play while sitting on the beach watching the sun set. It’s a summer song that makes you feel like you’re lying in a field of daisies with the person you’ve caught feelings for.”

Despite their youth, the members of Bighead Tea Drinkers have already estabished themselves as one to watch. Drawing inspiration from the likes of The Strokes, The Clash, and Lana Del Rey, the bands indie-rock tendencies and high-octane live shows have seen them build a reputation in and around Brighton. The new single continues to showcase their growth ahead of more music promised over the coming months.
