The Teskey Brothers (Sam and Josh) have teamed up with producer WAM Bleakley to present ‘Oceans of Emotions’, the first clip of a beautiful and moving trilogy.
Lead singer, Josh said of this conceptual approach to the production: “We chatted to him about exploring ‘The Winding Way’ that people take to navigate through their lives. The unexpected personal challenges. The relationships that form and break. The mundane beauty of it all. WAM brought it to life in such a stunning way – amazing characters and settings”.
The new clip follows on from the announcement of the forthcoming album, The Winding Way and the release of the lyric video as written about in my previous post. The documentary-style crew, that included director, Bleakley and London-based cinematographer, Adric Watson, travelled around Victoria to find and work with genuine, non-actor couples to tell their stories. Shot on 35mm film, the visuals that accompany ‘Oceans of Emotions’ instantly evoke the feeling of glistening nostalgia.
The Winding Way is out on June 16th via Ivy League Records and can be pre-ordered here.
