Canadian electronic duo Sultan + Shepard rolled into Sydney’s Liberty Hall like seasoned dancefloor diplomats, delivering a slick, high-energy set that reminded everyone why their fingerprints are all over the last decade of EDM and progressive house bangers.

The pair — Ossama Al Sarraf and Ned Shepard — are no strangers to sonic alchemy, having shaped the landscape with festival-stormers like “In The Air” (alongside Morgan Page and BT), the cheeky “No Good” with Fedde Le Grand, and the wistful synth-pop leanings of “Make Things Right”, featuring none other than Tegan and Sara. The duo are co-writing heavyweights, too. Their CV includes credits with David Guetta (“Bad”), Tegan and Sara (“Drove Me Wild”), and collabs with Tiësto, Vassy, and The Boxer Rebellion, among others.
