First act of the night was Gaz Price playing with his full band and the full crowd stayed quiet to listen to the mix of folk and indie music topped with the raw voice of Price coupled with heavy bass and powerful guitar riffs.

The second band up on stage were The Empire police. This was the first time I saw them perform and they blew me away with their indie/punk music superb vocals from the lead singer and some epic drumming underneath the drone bass and electrifying guitar riffs.

Headliner Docksuns finally took the stage to perform for their adoring fans shouting the bands name. I remember when I first went to see Docksuns play their first gig at the Independent and I was blown away by this band who I knew would be going very far in their musical career and support some of the biggest bands in the north east. Frontman James captivated the crowd with his impassioned vocals along with the heavy guitar riffs and creamy fuzz of the bass. The crowd enjoyed every moment of the night.
