We Came As Romans play the Liberty Hall in Sydney tonight. The venue is packed and buzzing after opening acts Harroway and Invent Animate have whipped the crowd into a frenzy. WCAR is a metalcore band from Troy, Michigan, formed in 2005 and are touring Australia for this first time in over 7 years. They are celebrating the release of their fifth studio album ‘Darkbloom’ and honouring the legacy of their bandmate, co-vocalist and keyboardist Kyle Pavone who died tragically in 2018.
The band take the stage to loud roars from the crowd and immediately swing into action. It’s hectic and hyperkinetic as vocalist Dave Stephens and the others charge around the stage with seemingly boundless energy.
The videos behind the band complement the music with captivating visual elements that enhance the overall experience, adding another layer to the emotional impact of the songs.
Tonight WCAR can truly say that the came, they saw and the kicked arse.
