The Struts are in Australia supporting SLASH FEAT. MYLES KENNEDY & THE CONSPIRATORS as part of The River Is Rising-Rest of the World Tour ’24. Tonight the band, who hail from Derby are playing a headline show at the Crowbar in Sydney. The band has gained a loyal following with their catchy anthems and charismatic frontman, Luke Spiller. Their music blends classic rock influences with modern flair.
The Crow Bar is a sweltering cauldron of bodies as Blur’s “Song 2” and Queen’s “We Are the Champions” thunder through the speakers, setting the stage for The Struts. Spiller, the charismatic ringleader, brings a touch of Freddie Mercury magic, while the rest of the band (guitarist Adam Slack, bassist Jed Elliott, and drummer Gethin Davies,) are as tight as a new pair of leather pants. It is a fun-filled night of pure unadulterated rock and roll.
