Live Gallery: SXSW Presents Otoboke Beaver at the Factory Theatre, Sydney 21.10.2023

Otoboke Beaver

Otoboke Beaver are performing to a packed out crowd, hot and sweaty, in the Spring sun at the Factory Theatre today. As the sun bears down, creating an oven-like atmosphere, the Kyoto punk priestesses, with their jagged guitar riffs and raucous drums, play as if they are summoning a typhoon to douse the flames. It’s pure, undiluted chaos – an embodiment of the wild spirit of rock ‘n’ roll. The sun, the heat, the music, and the madness – it’s a combustion too potent to ever be replicated. Surely one of the highlights of SXSW Sydney.
