Eora/Sydney-based alt-rock shapeshifters RedHook have just unleashed their long-anticipated debut album ‘Postcard From A Living Hell’ – produced by Stevie Knight (Stand Atlantic, Yours Truly) in collaboration with band member Craig Wilkinson, and mixed by James Paul Wisner (Underoath, Paramore).
Tonight they play the last stop of their ‘Postcard From A Living Hell’ tour at the Crow Bar. After wowing local fans across eleven regional and metro cities in May, RedHook will now head to the UK and Europe to support Stand Atlantic across seven dates in June.
RedHook have been blitzing Australian audiences with their high-octane performances and from the moment that they take the stage tonight, it is clear that the crowd is in for treat as the band, with dynamic singer Emmy Mack leading the charge, ignite the Crow Bar. There’s plenty of crowd surfing and costume changes, at one point Mack is chased around the stage, while wearing a strait jacket. All in all a cathartic experience with the combination of powerful music, passionate fans, and an undeniable sense of connection between the band and its audience-check out our Gallery below.
