Buck Meek, the wiry, enigmatic guitarist behind Big Thief’s signature sound, steps into his own spotlight tonight at Oxford Art Factory. On tour for his third solo outing, Haunted Mountain, Meek brings a collection of songs steeped in the ghostly beauty of wild landscapes that he has traversed.

The night kicks off with the spellbinding Germaine Dunes, her electric guitar and ethereal vocals weaving an intimate hush over the packed crowd. The mood lifts when Meek himself emerges to join her for a stunning duet, setting the tone for what’s to come.

When Meek and his band take the stage, it’s clear we’re in for something special. His presence is disarming—warm, effortless, magnetic. The band is razor-sharp yet loose in all the right ways, letting the songs breathe, expand, and settle into the room like old friends. Fans sway, eyes closed, hanging onto every note. It’s a night of unfiltered magic—Meek, in his element, proving once again why he’s one of the most compelling guitarists and songwriters of his generation.

Buck Meek will perform in Melbourne and Meeniyan next. Head HERE for dates and ticketing information.
