Following the release of his third studio album, ‘Columbo’, British singer-songwriter and multi-instrumentalist Bruno Major makes a triumphant return to the Enmore stage tonight after his 2020 tour was cancelled.
Major’s music seamlessly blends elements of soul, jazz, and contemporary R&B. Known for his soothing vocal style and introspective lyrics, Major has carved out a niche for himself in the modern music landscape. He has toured extensively, selling over 50,000 headline tickets, made his TV debut on The Late Late Show with James Corden, his festival debut at Bonnaroo Music & Arts Festival, and opened for Sam Smith’s European arena tour.
He first gained recognition with his project ‘A Song for Every Moon.’ His latest 12-track LP, ‘Columbo,’ reflects his subtle evolution as a songwriter. The album draws its name from a white vintage 1978 Mercedes 380SL he acquired during a six-month sojourn in Los Angeles. The car was sadly written off after a crash, but this became an inspired moment of clarity, that shaped the romantic essence of the album.
Major strides onto the Enmore stage, cradling his guitar. Each chord he strums seems to pulse through the crowd like a heartbeat. There’s something profoundly genuine about the way he connects with every note, every lyric, he’s a storyteller, and suddenly, we’re all hanging on every word.
