Two brothers. Both of whom like to sing. Both of whom like to play guitar. And both of whom wanted to form a band. It could have lead to another gory chapter in the tales sibling rivalry. But not in Hayd and Aaron Brown’s case. They’ve formed a band, both play lead guitar, both of them sing and both of them share the pens and papers nicely when it comes to the songwriting.
Joining them to make their band complete are drummer, Karen Jones and Debbie Ahakpo on bass, both of whom provide backing vocals. Everyone gets along nicely and have wasted no time at all in recording their debut EP the self-titled Fur Cough which is released on August 4th via Baby Baboon Records.
The band draw inspiration from a wide spectrum of acts, Jesus Lizard, PJ Harvey, Lhasa de Sela and At The Drive-in all of which combines to offer up a ballsy, grunge tinged sound that combines nicely with the coarse, yet moving lyrics.
