Guitarist, songwriter and co-founder of The Black Crowes Rich Robinson landed in Sheffield on October 2nd, playing at the intimate Greystones. A real chance for fans to get close to someone who has sold over 30 million albums through a 25 year career. PLaying material that stretches from Bob Dylan through Buffalo Springfield and traditional folk tunes, he also peppered the set with tracks from his albums, ‘Through A Crooked Sun’, ‘Paper’, and his recent critically acclaimed ‘The Ceaseless Night’.
As he notes, “I enjoy the simplicity of doing acoustic shows where I can break a song down to its purest form; it’s closest to the way I write them.”
