The beautiful chaos that are Dublin’s Onion Boys playing The Workman’s Club cellar venue with support from the equally beautiful and mayhem causing Scustin.
The room from well before the show started was full of such energy, it was electric and the crowd went bonkers to the likes of Onion Boys songs ”Rock Band” / ”Daddy’s Arms” and only released to coincide with the Dublin show ”How To Grow Up (On Tik Tok)”
Having burst onto the Irish live music scene only last year with a string of standout Irish festival appearances, Onion Boys have already made waves overseas – recently playing sold out shows across Scotland and Germany.
Johnny Dublin and Leadpipe Dan joined forces in 2021 and recruited a miscreant band of posers – including but not limited to: Sharky Steamers, Al Always Want Moore, Bad Bernie B, Rig Marolé, Brendan the Bricks and Cillian ‘Me Softly’ to contribute to the noise and say something that’s never been said before:
“Straight from the horse’s cobblestones, honest to Bono, yesterday’s Dublin, no tomorrow!”
