Trad/folk group The High Kings graced the stage of Ballykeeffe Amphitheatre for the first time. The band have been together for 15 years and the set-list spanned that to the delight of the sold-out crowd who from the very start were on their feet dancing and singing which gave the night a good old pub trad session feeling with them playing a mix of their own hits and a nice mix of trad classics.
Opening the night was Derby native but now based in Nashville, Tennessee Josh Okeefe who got the trad feeling going nicely before having to head of to play another gig in Kilkenny as he is on a tour of Ireland.
